A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:
For over 15 years my journey has been one dedicated to bringing the benefits of health and wellness to others. Being a life-long athlete, I was drawn to the University of Pittsburgh where I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Exercise Science. As I pursued and enjoyed over a decade of work in this field, I yearned to know more about the power of healing with food, as well as a strong desire to achieve optimal personal health and wellness. This led me to the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), eCornell and the T. Colin Campbell Institute. While at IIN, I was able to study over 100 dietary theories and had the opportunity to study under respected teachers and leaders such as Andrew Weil, Mark Hyman, Geneen Roth, David Wolfe and Deepak Chopra. After graduating from IIN, I received my certification in plant-based nutrition from eCornell and the T. Colin Campbell Institute. Here I gained an intimate knowledge of dietary causes of chronic degenerative diseases, and clinical solutions for reducing risk through a whole-food, plant-based diet. I studied under esteemed scientists, researchers, and medical leaders including Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, M.D., Dr. John McDougall, M.D., Dr. Antonia Demas, Ph.D., Dr. Matthew Lederman, M.D., and Dr. Doug Lisle, Ph.D.
As I travelled my path to achieve optimal health and wellness, I learned the tools that helped me to be a healthy person in a completely different way. Tools that have allowed me to combat stress, boost metabolism, heal the digestive system, reduce inflammation, live healthier and learn how to balance it all – in my busy life. I truly have never felt better! I am ready to teach you to the same tools I have learned in my own life.
